Necessary preliminary tasks:

Production date up to 08/2010:

Production date from 08/2010:

NOTE: Work shown as example for R56 version up to 08/2010.

If necessary, remove outside temperature sensor (1).

Release latch mechanisms (2) and remove ornamental grille (3).

Installation note:

Latch mechanisms on grille and bumper panel must not be damaged.
