61 31 008 Removing and installing (replacing) steering column switch cluster

WARNING: Move wheels into straight-ahead position and do not alter this position during the repair work.
Do not under any circumstances turn the mounting for the steering column switch cluster when the steering wheel is removed.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screw (1).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage.

Unlock the retaining tab (1) and retaining tab on the opposite side to the outside.

Remove steering column switch cluster (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Retaining tabs (1) must not be damaged
