52 26 311 Removing and installing/replacing lock for left or right rear seat backrest

Necessary preliminary tasks:

R55, R56 Series only :

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ .

Unclip Bowden cable (1) and feed out from lock.

R57 Series only :

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 01AZ .

Pull release unit (2) out of rear seat back.

Remove counter-support (3).

Installation:

Make sure release unit is correctly seated in counter-support.
