61 62 062 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right wiper motor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove WIPER ARM FOR REAR WIPER 
• Remove split door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL FOR LEFT SPLITDOOR or TRIM PANEL FOR RIGHT SPLITDOOR .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Detach wiring harness from attachment points (3).

Unfasten screws (2). Tightening torque 61 62 2AZ .

Pull rear wiper motor (4) out of grommet of split door.

Installation note: 

• Check grommet of wiper pivot for signs of damage, and replace if necessary.
• Make sure the grommet on the split door and spacer sleeves (5) are correctly seated on rear wiper motor (4).
