61 31 113 Removing and installing/replacing both shift paddles for automatic transmission

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove airbag unit. See AIRBAG UNIT or AIRBAG UNIT (SPORT STEERING WHEEL) .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Remove shift paddles (3).

Installation note: 

• Ensure shift paddles (3) are correctly seated.
• Make sure electrical wiring is correctly routed.
