65 83 560 Removing and installing/replacing front trim panel for Car Communication Computer

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

NOTE: To facilitate feeding out the front trim panel in the next work step, carefully pull instrument cluster (2) forwards in lower area.

Release screws (1).

Fold down front trim panel for Car Communication Computer (2) upwards and feed out.

NOTE: "LIF" stands for Low Insert Force.

Open catch of LIF plug (2) in direction of arrow and feed out LIF cable (1).

Remove front trim (4) from Car Communication Computer (3).
