65 12 072 Removing and installing/replacing amplifier

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Remove cover for luggage compartment wheel arch panel (1) from left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (2).

For purposes of clarity, amplifier shown with luggage compartment wheel arch panel removed.

Release screw (1) and slide amplifier (2) upwards in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove amplifier (2).

Installation: 

Lugs (1) must be correctly slid into guide (2).

Check that amplifier (3) is securely seated.

Replacement: 

Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING/ENCODING
