66 20 540 Removing and installing/replacing rear ultrasonic converter

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Work on the exhaust system may only be carried out when it has cooled down!

NOTE: The ultrasonic sensor (2) can be replaced without removing the bumper panel.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Spread the latch mechanism (3) apart and pull out the ultrasonic sensor (2).

Installation note:

Make sure rubber ring (1) is correctly seated on ultrasonic sensor (2).
