54 34 436 Removing and installing left or right water drain hose

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove REAR WHEEL ARCH COVER ON LEFT OR RIGHT
• Remove left or right wheel arch panel. See REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL or REMOVING LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .

Disconnect water drain hose (1) from wheel arch.

Installation note: 

Check correct seating of the rubber grommet from the water drain hose (1) in wheel arch.

Pull off water drain hose (1) from water collecting pan (2).

Installation note: 

Check correct seating of the rubber grommet from the water drain hose (1) in wheel arch.

Installation note: 

Check that the water drain hose (2) is seated correctly on water collecting pan (1).

Water drain hose (2) and water collecting pan (1) are encoded to prevent incorrect assembly.
