54 34 140 Removing and installing or replacing the base plate on left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 54 34 03AZ .

Detach windscreen sealing in marked area.

Installation note:

Ensure that the windscreen sealing is correctly installed in the marked area.

Release screws (1).

To release right screw (1), carefully pull cover (2) downward.

Tightening torque 54 34 03AZ .

Remove base plate (3).
