41 14 511 Replace complete rear left wheel arch (rear left rear side panel removed)

Remove or cover those vehicle components in the repair area which are susceptible to heat or dust.

Use only approved SPOT-WELDING APPARATUS  for repairs.

Following new body parts are required:

Removing the wheel arch 

Remove cavity sealing (1).

Open welded connections in area (2).

Open welded connections in areas (1) and (2).

Installation note: 

For production reasons, the repair sequence varies from the standard sequence. Fit new part in area (2) onto the pipe flange from the outside.

Open welded connections in areas (1).

Open welded connections in area (1) and remove wheel arch.

New part preparation 

Adjust new parts in conjunction with side panel to fit.

Installation outer wheel arch section 

Install new parts and weld the same as series.

Coat CAVITY SEALINGS  with sealant. Fit cavity sealings.
