41 34 042 Stripping operations - Replacing tail panel outer section (partial replacement, center)

NOTE: Owing to the different engine variants and equipment specifications, not all the components are taken into consideration.
The following list basically represents the removal sequence.

Disconnect negative battery cable (job number: 61 20 900)
Remove bumper trim (job number: 51 12 156)
Remove bumper support (job number: 51 12 050)
Remove tail panel cover at top (job number: 51 46 050)
Lower rear exhaust system
Remove rear heat shield
Partially release tailgate seal

Disconnect connector (1).

Release screws (2) and remove lock (3).

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ .

Remove tailgate vents (4).

Release wiring harness from tail panel and luggage compartment floor.
