41 62 043 Removing/installing/replacing left hinge for tailgate (tailgate removed)

Read contents of BODY, GENERAL .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

• Remove GAS PRESSURE SPRING .

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 41 62 4AZ .

Release clip (2) and remove ground connection.

Secure tailgate against falling down with a second person.

Release screw connections (1) and (2) and remove hinge.

Installation note: 

Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ/2AZ .

ADJUST  hinge together with tailgate.
