41 12 535 Stripping Operations - Replacing Complete Luggage Compartment Floor (Tail Panel Removed)

- Remove front and rear spare wheel well trim panel (job number: 51 47)
- Remove battery (FR number: 61 21 010)
- Disconnect negative battery cable (job number: 61 12 013)
- Remove rear left floor panel (job number: 51 47 395)
- Remove left and right rear wheel arch covers (job number: 51 71 041)
- Remove exhaust system (job number: gasoline engine 18 00 020, diesel engine 18 00 018)
- Remove heat shield
- Remove air supply system (job number: 37 22 540)
- Remove left and right trailing links (job number: 51 71 482)
- Remove cross reinforcement (job number: 51 71 480)
Emergency release for electromagnetic parking brake:
Press both retaining lugs together and press cable for emergency release (1) downwards.
Release screws and remove supports (1).
Release positive battery cables (2) and lay to one side.
