84 11 519 Removing and installing or replacing eject box

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unclip connector housing (2) and disconnect plug connection (3).

Expose connecting line up to the eject box.

If necessary press button (1) and remove cover (2).

Undo screw (3) using a T10 Torx screwdriver.

Lift the cover (4) at the front and remove towards the rear.

Installation note:

Replace damaged cover.

Make sure cover is correctly positioned.

Disengage eject box (1) on both sides of center armrest using special tools 00 9 340 .

Remove eject box (1) and remove connecting line.
