51 43... Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for B-pillar on left or right

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Using special tool 00 9 327 , unclip cover (1) from shaped part (3) at division (2).

Release trim (1) at clamps (2).

Pull off edge protection (1) in headlining area.

Detach headlining (3) at guides (4).

Lift out expanding rivet (2) and lower rear headlining (3).

Installation note:

Guides (4) must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace faulty expanding rivet (2).

Feed out cover (1) towards the rear.

Guides (1) at cover (3) must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace faulty clips (2).

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1) on shaped part (2).
