51 43 148 Removing And Installing Or Replacing Trim On Left Or Right Door Pillar (Top)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove panel for door pillar (bottom). Refer to 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR (BOTTOM) .
Remove decorative strip on panel for door pillar. Refer to 51 43... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DECORATIVE STRIP ON PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR .
Release seatbelt screw on seat belt at bottom.

Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).

Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.

Feed out seatbelt strap (3).

Installation:

Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:

Guides.
Belt finisher strip.
Fixtures for expansion rivets.
