- Remove and install panel for rear lid at top . See 51 49 006 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR REAR LID AT TOP .
- Adjust rear lid lock . See 51 24 004 ADJUSTING REAR LID LOCK (LOWER SECTION OF REAR LID LOCK) .
Observe specified gap dimensions . See BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .
Release screw connections (1) on inner C-pillar.
Remove hinge.
