51 21 300 Removing and installing or replacing window cavity cover strip on outside of left or right front door

Special tools required:

IMPORTANT: Observe PROCEDURE for using special tool 00 9 324 .

REMOVAL:

Lower the door window glass.

Pry out weather strip with special tool 00 9 324 (starting at B-pillar).

Installation note:

Make sure that window cavity gaps (1) between A-pillar trim panel and rear weather strip are correct.

INSTALLATION:

Mount weather strip (1).

Ensure that window cavity strip (1) in areas (A) and (B) is fitted correctly.
