51 47... Removing and installing/replacing storage compartment

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Lever out rubber cap (1) and release screw underneath.

Remove center barrier (2).

Installation note:

Latch mechanisms of rubber cap (1) must not be damaged or missing.

Release barrier (1) on left/right to the top from clamps (2).

Installation note:

Replace faulty clamps (2).

Feed out carpet (1) to the top and release screws underneath at marked points.

Remove storage compartment support (2).

Installation note:

Guides (arrow) serve for positioning the carpet when inserting it.
