61 12 013 Replacing negative battery lead
WARNING:
Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING VEHICLE BATTERY and INFORMATION ON AGM BATTERY .
Follow instructions for DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
Observe information on INTELLIGENT BATTERY SENSOR (IBS) .
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove the RIGHT COWL PANEL COVER
Loosen nut (1). Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ .
Disconnect battery negative lead (3) from battery.
Version with intelligent battery sensor (IBS):
Detach plug connection from IBS.
Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 21 4AZ .
Feed out battery negative lead (3) and remove.
