61 31 029 Removing and installing/replacing roof operating facility

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Remove trims (1) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Retaining lugs must not be damaged.

Unlock retaining lugs (1) with a suitable tool on both sides.

Remove roof operating facility (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation note:

Retaining lugs must not be damaged.

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove roof operating facility (2).

Installation note:

Make sure roof operating facility (2) is correctly seated.

Replacement:

If necessary, remove BULBS .
