00 58 298 Retrofitting the crankcase ventilation (N16) (cold-climate version only)

Necessary preliminary work:

Dimension A = 12 mm

Dimension B = Ø10 mm

Drill hole Ø 10 mm.

Insert banjo bolt (1) through the hole from the inside.

Screw connector (1) onto the banjo bolt.

Screw tank ventilation line (1) onto crankcase with connector (2).

Tightening torque 11 11 8AZ .

Insert line (1) on connector on clean air pipe and secure with hose clamp (3).

Secure line (1) with cable strap (4).

Reassemble the vehicle.
