61 31 059 Removing and installing/replacing switch block in instrument panel

Remove cover strips for front center console. Refer to 51 16 198 REMOVING/INSTALLING OR REPLACING TRIM BETWEEN FRONT CENTER CONSOLE AND INSTRUMENT PANEL .

Remove screws (1) and pull switch block towards front to release rear retaining clips.

Detach plug connector (1) from switch block.

IMPORTANT: If the car has telephone provisions (optional extra), the plug connector is the same as that of the switch block in the instrument panel. Make sure the correct plug connector is reconnected.
