11 61 065 Removing and installing/replacing left intake plenum (S63)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front axle with engine and transmission. See COMPLETELY REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AXLE WITH ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION (DOUBLE-CLUTCH GEARBOX)or COMPLETELY REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE FRONT AXLE WITH ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION (MANUAL GEARBOX) .
Remove left THROTTLE VALVE .

Disconnect plug connection (1) at servomotor for eccentric shaft (2).

Unclip wiring harness from clamps (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Release screws (3).

Tightening torque: 13 62 2AZ .

Remove pressure sensor (4).

Installation note:

Replace O-ring.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque: 11 61 1AZ .

Remove intake plenum (2).

Installation note:

Replace all sealing rings (1).

Observe mounting pin on the differentiated air intake system.

Assemble engine and vehicle.

Check air intake system for leaks with diagnosis system.

DME.
Air supply.
Charging pressure control.
(ATL) exhaust turbocharger procedure.
