52 26... Adjusting striker for rear seat backrest

Release backrest on left or right and tilt forwards.

If necessary, remove lock striker.

Ideal adjustment of lock striker  :

Lock striker must engage correctly in lock.

Lock striker must not brush against the side of the backrest.

Backrest must not rattle or have no play between lock striker and lock.

Adjusting  :

Tighten down screws (1) until lock striker (2) can still just be moved.

Fold backrest up and check adjustment.

Repeat procedure until ideal setting is reached.

Tighten down screws.

For R55, R56 Series  :

Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ .

Adjusting  :

Tighten down screws (1) until lock striker (2) can still just be moved.

Fold backrest up and check adjustment.

Repeat procedure until ideal setting is reached.

Tighten down screws.

For R57 Series  :

Tightening torque 52 26 04AZ .
