Removal & Installation

Turn ignition off. Remove radiator cover. See RADIATOR COVER . Remove front engine underguard. Unclip coolant hose at bottom from fan cowl. Unclip vent line at top from fan cowl. Disconnect connector (1) at Automatic Recirculated Air Control (AUC) sensor. Unlock additional connector (2) next to radiator and disconnect plug. See Fig 1 .
Fold in left retaining tab to fan cowl (1). See Fig 2 . Lift fan cowl (1) about 1.18". Fold in retaining tab (2). Remove fan cowl (1) toward top. See Fig 3 .
To install, reverse removal procedure. Insert retaining tab (1) at bottom on module carrier. See Fig 4 . Reinstall AUC sensor.
