51 24 080 Removing and installing/replacing drive unit for rear lid lock

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 12AZ .

Turn drive unit for rear lid lock (2) upwards.

Installation:

Make sure drive unit for rear lid lock (2) is correctly seated.

Slacken nut (1).

Feed out theft-proofing cover (2) in direction of arrow from guide (3).

Unclip clips (2) and guides of Bowden cables (3) downwards.

Detach plug connection (4) from actuator drive (5).

Remove drive unit for rear lid lock (1).
