51 41 000 Removing and installing (replacing) front left or right door trim panel

Special tools required:

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Pull out pin (1).

Do not unclip cover (2). Cover (2) will be released when the door trim panel is unclipped from the door opener (3).

Installation note:

Cover (2) can only be installed in one position on door opener (3).

Detach door trim panel (1) with special tool 00 9 317 from clip (2).

The cover (3) will be unclipped when the door trim panel (1) is loosened.

Installation note:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (2).

Installation note:

Catches (1) on cover (2) must not be damaged.

Installation note:

Make sure all clips are correctly installed on the door trim panel (2).

Clips (1) are white, all other clips are grey.
