52 13 055 Removing and installing lumbar support on front seat

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Turn handwheel for lumbar support so as to produce the lowest possible lumbar vertebra support.

Disengage Bowden cable (1) from lumbar support.

Detach handwheel (2) from backrest.

Disengage Bowden cable from handwheel.

If necessary, remove counter-support (2): 

Release screws (1) and remove counter-support (2).

Tightening torque 52 13 04AZ .

Disengage upper lumbar support (1) from wire spring frame.

Unclip lower lumbar support (2) from wire spring frame.

Feed lumbar support out of backrest.
