51 71 360 Removing and installing/replacing seal for rear lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Detach seal (1) from rear lid cutout.

Installation:

Start fitting in area of filler pieces (2).

Make sure filler pieces (2) are correctly seated on tail panel studs.

Drain hole of seal in middle on rear lid cutout must not be clogged.

NOTE: Seal (1) runs under soft top up to B-pillar.

Detach seal (1) on left and right from body.

Installation:

Make sure seal (1) is correctly seated on body and all trim panel parts.
