51 47 131 Replacing front panel for luggage compartment floor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove left and right luggage compartment wheel arch trims. See LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL  and RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .

Fold rear seat back forwards on left/right.

Release expander rivets (1), feed out panel (2) over lashing eyes (3) upwards and remove.

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty expander rivets (1).
