51 47 116 Removing and installing/replacing luggage compartment cross-member trim panel
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR TRIM PANEL
- Remove backrest for rear seat. See BACKREST FOR LEFT REAR SEAT and BACKREST FOR RIGHT REAR SEAT .
- Remove left and right luggage compartment wheel arch panels. See LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL and RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .
Release expanding rivets (1), feed out trim panel (2) over lashing eyes (3) upwards and remove.
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty expanding rivets (1).
