51 71 120 Removing and installing/replacing front cowl panel seal

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Unclip clips (1) on seal (2).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Make sure seal (2) is correctly seated in relation to adjoining trim panel parts (wind noises).

Release screws (1) on seal (2).

NOTE: On R57 only one screw (1) is fitted per side.

Detach seal (2) on front door apertures and feed out from cowl panel at top and remove.
