84 11 519 Removing and installing/replacing eject box

Special tools required: 

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection)! See 61 35... NOTES ON ESD PROTECTION (ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unclip plug housing (2) and disconnect plug connection (3).

Expose connecting line up to eject box.

If necessary, press button (1) and remove cover (2).

Release screw (3) with T10 Torx screwdriver.

Raise cover (4) at front and remove towards rear.

Installation: 

Replace damaged cover.

Make sure cover is correctly positioned.

Snap eject box (1) out of Centre armrest on both sides using special tool 00 9 340  . See 00 9 340 DISASSEMBLY AID (2) .

Remove eject box (1) and feed out connecting line.
