51 41 019 Removing and installing/replacing door handle on door panel, front left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

If necessary, disconnect plug connection (1) and feed out cable.

Release screws (3).

Remove door handle (4) and feed out associated cable.

For replacement with light package version:

Remove LED for door trim lighting.

Release latch mechanisms (1) and remove fibre-optic conductor (2).

Install fibre-optic conductor (2) and LED in new door handle.
