51 11 159 Installing/replacing number/license plate (without license plate baseplate)

Installation note: 

• A number plate template must be used to ensure the simple and secure installation of the front number plate.

  Different versions for each national-market and model version are displayed on the template.

If necessary, cut template to match national specification (1).

Place template on number plate and center.

Select drilling holes (2) to match national and model specifications, then mark and drill/punch.

If necessary, deburr bore holes on number plate.

Hold number plate template on bumper trim and center with position holes (1).

Select mounting holes (2) to match national and model specifications on template and mark on bumper trim.

Mount number plate with number plate screws (BMW/MINI part number.: 07143448498) on bumper trim.
