31 11 020 Removing and installing/replacing bumper bracket

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove carrier for bumper trim  . See 51 11 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CARRIER FOR FRONT BUMPER TRIM .

Undo bolt (1) at front panel strut.

Release screws (1).

Pull off bumper bracket forwards from front axle support. See 31 11 506 Lowering/raising front axle carrier (special tool SWZ00-2040)  or 31 11 506 Lowering/raising front axle carrier (universal lifter) .

Installation: 

Tightening torque. See 31 11 3AZ .
