72 11 097 Removing and installing/replacing rear center lower strap

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Installation:

Powerlok screws (Duo Taptite) must be replaced and must not be reused.

Powerlok screws (Duo Taptite) are mechanical thread fasteners with trilobular threads.

Lift off cover.

Unlock PLUG CONNECTIONS (1) and disconnect.

Release screw (2).

Installation:

Replace screw.

Tightening torque 72 11 08AZ .

Remove lower belt fitting.
