37 14 512 Replacing rear ride-height sensor: Notes

IMPORTANT: Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS for raising the vehicle
NOTE: Ride-height sensor holder on rear axle carrier 37 14 3AZ .
Jointed rod to holder 37 14 4AZ .
Holder to upper control arm 37 14 5AZ .
IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) .

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release nut (2) and remove jointed rod from sensor lever (3).

Installation: 

Replace self-locking nut.

Sensor lever (3) must point from ride-height sensor to lower control arm.

Tightening torque 37 14 4AZ .

Release screws (1) and remove ride-height sensor.

Installation: 

Tightening torque 37 14 1AZ .
