51 24 095 Removing and installing/replacing emergency release for rear lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1) on emergency release (2).

Feed out handle (3) on emergency release (2) towards top.

Press emergency release tab (1) downwards and feed out Bowden cable (2) in direction of arrow.

Press catches (1) on Bowden cable (2) together and remove emergency release (3).

Installation:

Perform function check with rear lid open.

Replacement:

If necessary, detach clip upper section (1) from clip lower section (2) towards top.

Installation:

Catches on clip upper section (1) and on clip lower section (2) must not be damaged.
