51 24 070 Removing and installing/replacing retractor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

WARNING: Retractor Bowden cable is under tension (risk of injury).

Unlock retainer (1) and slide upwards in direction of arrow.

Feed out retractor Bowden cable (2).

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 24 6AZ .

Release cable tie (2) and remove retractor (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation:

Make sure retractor (3) is correctly seated.

Replace cable tie (2).
