51 46 080 Removing and installing/replacing upper rollover protection panel

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: Tape off work area in order to avoid damage.

Unclip upper trim (1) with plastic wedge.

Installation:

Retaining lugs must not be damaged nor must trim (1) be scratched.

If necessary, replace trim (1).

Trim (1) is encoded against incorrect installation.

Release screw (1).

Carefully unclip upper panel from lower panel and remove in upward direction.

NOTE: There are also retaining clips in the panel on the left and right.

Installation:

Retaining lugs on lower or upper trim must not be damaged.

If necessary, replace faulty covers.

Retaining clips on left and right must not be damaged.
