51 47 116 Removing and installing/replacing luggage compartment cross-member trim panel

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove luggage compartment floor trim panel
- Remove backrest for rear seat. See BACKREST FOR LEFT REAR SEAT or BACKREST FOR RIGHT REAR SEAT .
- Remove left and right luggage compartment wheel arch panels. See LEFT WHEEL ARCH TRIM and RIGHT WHEEL ARCH TRIM .
Release expanding rivets (1), feed out trim panel (2) over lashing eyes (3) upwards and remove.
Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty expanding rivets (1).
