41 14 511 Replacing complete rear left wheel arch (rear left side panel removed)

Remove or cover those vehicle components in the repair area which are susceptible to heat or dust.

Use only approved SPOT-WELDING APPARATUS  for repairs.

Following new body parts are required:

Open weld joints in areas (1) and (2).

Installation: 

For manufacturing reasons, the repair joining sequence differs from the series joining sequence. Fit new part in area (2) from outside onto pipe flange and MAG weld.

Open welding spots in area (1).

Open welding spots in areas (1).

Installation: 

Fit in new part.

Before welding, also adjust rear side panel to fit.

Installation: 

Weld in area (1) additionally.

Installation: 

Stick CAVITY ACOUSTIC BAFFLE  (1) in area (2) with window glass adhesive.
