41 32 000 Replacing left or right cowl panel (partial replacement before roof connection)

Following new body parts are required:

Fig 1: Identifying Outer A-Pillar

CAUTION: Cut outer plate only for following severance cuts.

Mark cutting lines on outer cowl panel according to dimensions a and b and cut.

Dimension (a) = approx. 60 mm below bore hole dia. 8 mm.

Dimension (b) = approx. 50 mm above bore hole dia. 8 mm.

Open weld joints in areas (1) and remove wheel cowl panel.

Weld in REINFORCING PANELS at all severance cuts.

Preparation of new part

Open weld joints in areas (1).

Mark new part in accordance with severance cuts above and cut.
