12 14 524 Replace pulse sensor on exhaust camshaft (N12, N16)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Switch off ignition.
• Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
• Check stored fault messages.

Unlock connector (1) and remove.

Loosen the screw and remove the pulse sensor (2).

Installation note: 

Replace sealing ring and coat with lubricant.

Tightening torque 13 62 4AZ.
