13 54 030 Removing and installing/sealing the throttle body (N12, N16)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
• Check stored fault messages.
• Switch off ignition.
• REMOVE THE AIR INTAKE HOSE. 

Release screws.

Tightening torque 13 54 1AZ .

Carefully feed out throttle body (1) toward the top until the connector for the cable connection is accessible.

Unlock connector and remove.

Remove throttle body (1).

Installation note: 

Replace sealing ring (1).
