11 61 050 Removing and installing intake air manifold (N14)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release hose clamps (1) and detach charge air hose (2).

Installation note:

Install charge air hose (2) dry and free from grease.

Connecting branch on throttle valve must be dry and free from grease.

Position hose clamps (1) again correctly and ensure sufficient spacing to adjacent components.

The spacing between hose clamp and brake line must be 15 mm.

NOTE: Picture shows EPPC removed.

Disconnect vacuum lines on vacuum connection (1 and 2).

Disconnect plug connection at EPPC.

Installation: 

OUT connector (1) is identified with a green ring.

Disconnect plug connection (1) on tank vent valve (2).

Detach hose from tank vent valve (2).

Release screw (1) under plenum.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Tightening torque 11 61 1AZ

Installation: 

OUT connector on EPPC is identified with a green ring.

Vacuum line (1) is fitted with a green ring (OUT).

Vacuum line (2) without green ring (VAC).

Installation: 

Replace all seals.

Assemble engine.
