65 81 060 Removing and installing/replacing outside temperature sensor (from 08/2010)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Partially remove underbody protection (only diesel).

Feed out front wheel arch panel (2) in bottom area, as shown. Unclip outside temperature sensor (3) by accessing wheel arch from bumper panel (1).

Installation note:  Outside temperature sensor must be locked in area (4). Make sure outside temperature sensor is securely seated (3).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect. Remove the outside temperature sensor (2).
